흑지 위에 흑연 프로타주, 사운드
가변설치
통제와 은폐를 목적으로 설계된 건축물 '남영동 대공분실'에서 발생한 기이한 건축적 특징을 조각으로 변환하고 수집한다.
<낙엽>은 1층과 5층을 직통으로 연결하는 대공분실의 철제 나선 계단의 한 개 층을 1:1 스케일로 재현한다. 계단의 재료가 되는 철제 판 위에 종이를 대고 흑연을 문지르는 행위는 애도이자 해체의 움직임이다.

Variable installation
This project documents and transforms into sculpture the peculiar architectural features of the former Namyeong-dong Interrogation Center, a building designed for control and concealment.
Heavy Leaf reproduces a single level of the steel spiral staircase that directly connects the first and fifth floors of the building at a 1:1 scale. The act of placing paper over the steel plates that compose the staircase and rubbing them with graphite is both a gesture of mourning and an act of dismantling.
